Róisín Murphy announces headline show at Royal Albert Hall

The Irish artist plays the iconic London venue in May

Róisín Murphy is set for a headline show at the Royal Albert Hall.

A couple of weeks on from releasing a live version of 'Flash of Light', her 2012 collaboration with Luca C and Brigante, the Irish artist and ex-Moloko vocalist will play the historic London venue on 11th May. 

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10am GMT on Friday, 3rd February. Murphy shared the news via her Twitter page on 31s January:

The headliner at the iconic South Kensington venue will come ahead of shows by Murphy at Dublin's Trinity College on 2nd July and Bluedot Festival in Macclesfield on 20th July.

Last year, Murphy made her acting debut in Netflix fantasy series 'The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself'. She also launched a charity T-shirt collection in collaboration with Manchester queer club event Homobloc.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Underworld will headline an upcoming Teenage Cancer Trust event at London's historic Royal Albert Hall.
