Serato and Roland celebrate TB-303 and TR-606 with new vinyl release
J. Rocc, Fast Eddie, Shadow Child and DJ Haus contribute new music produced with the iconic drum machines to a special edition 12-inch, out now
Serato and Roland have teamed up to release a special edition vinyl LP to celebrate "303 Day".
The music tech giants have enlisted J. Rocc, Fast Eddie, Shadow Child and DJ Haus to produce new tracks using the iconic Roland TB-303 Bass Line Synthesizer and TR-606 Drumatix drum machines for the anniversary 12-inch.
Chicago house legend Fast Eddie said the TB-303 was key to his sound and success. "If it wasn’t for the 303, I wouldn’t even be here right now talking to you", he said in a press statement. "That’s my history".

Roland celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. Look back on five decades of the pioneering company here. One of its latest new pieces of kit, the GAIA 2 synth, was released in September 2023.
Serato was acquired by Pioneer's new parent company AlphaTheta Corporation last July, spurring InMusic to threaten legal action. It expanded the functionality of its flagship software DJ Pro to 3.1 beta this past September.
