Seth Troxler donates $10k of Ultra Mexico fee to earthquake fund, urges other DJs to join him

"I invite all other headliners to join me..."

Seth Troxler has donated his fee for playing this weekend's Ultra Mexico to the Mexico City earthquake relief fund, and has challenged other headliners to do the same.

So far the only other DJ to answer the call is former Top 100 DJs winner Martin Garrix.

Troxler took to his Twitter account to challenge the festival's other headliners to donate either $10,000 or 10% of their fee.

He has challenged the likes of Armin van Buuren, Richie Hawtin, Knife Party, Dubfire, Afrojack, and Nicky Romero to follow in his footsteps and donate a portion of their fees, too.

Despite Mexico City suffering extensive damage to its infrastructure, Ultra Mexico's organisers have taken the decision that the festival will go on as planned.

The festival's organisers are doing their bit too, earlier this week they slashed ticket prices and promised to donate half the money from those discounted tickets to the disaster relief fund.
