Stellar OM Source returns with new EP on Dekmantel, 'I See Through You': Listen
The release comes after an extended period of silence from the producer
French producer Stellar OM Source, real name Christelle Gualdi, is releasing her first record with Dekmantel.
Titled 'I See Through You', the record is made up of four tracks which took form as a result of live recordings. It follows on from the 'Burning / Dirty' 12" that Gualdi released last summer, which marked her first record in three years after retreating from music production as well as largely from live performance.
"It was touring, including two shows in the summer of 2019 at Dekmantel Festival and Listen! that Gualdi credits as year highlights, which proved to be the integral jump-start to the engine," says Dekmantel's announcement of the EP. "Inspiration came rushing back thanks to the human connection of performing.
"Seeing a younger generation connect with her put fresh charge into the circuitry of her gear. All this accrued into new material on the road, and thus 'I See Through You' was born."

Dekmantel Soundsystem, the festival and promoter's residents, are currently holding down a weekly residency at London's XOYO.
