Tourist shares new single, ‘A Little Bit Further’: Watch the video

Tourist is back with a brand new single, ‘A Little Bit Further’, out via Monday Records. Watch the video below.

The British producer follows his 2022 album, ‘Inside Out’, with a new track sampling ‘Song For Wilde’ from cult songwriter, Mark Fry. The single, which arrived today (6th July) via Tourist’s own Monday Records imprint, combines psychedelic rock with rolling beats to suit both dancefloors and long drives.

Speaking on the sample, Tourist said, “Having finished the track, I actually emailed Mark himself and sent him the record – not only did he respond but he said he liked it and was happy for me to include it on my next album. This track is not only a testament to being inspired by others but also forming friendships through art, it’s a declaration of hope and love.”

The track is accompanied by a glittery visualiser directed by Erin McConaghy, and marks the Grammy-nominated artist’s eleventh year of releasing music under the Tourist alias.

Last year, he joined forces with fellow chill house artist, Elderbrook for the single, ‘Howl’, on Mine Recordings, which was later remixed by Logic1000. Tourist also dropped an ‘Inside Out (Reworks)’ EP in November, featuring tracks from his latest LP remixed by the likes of Ninja Tune affiliate Sofia Kourtesis and rising Vancouver-based producer, Yu Su.

After a hectic run of headline shows across Australia this summer, Tourist will return to the UK for a slot on Lost Village festival’s stacked bill, alongside Peggy Gou, Overmono, Bonobo (DJ), and more.
