Ultra adapting Resistance Island for new techno area at 2020 festival

The titanic techno party is heading back to Miami

Resistance will return to Ultra Music Festival this year at a new stage entitled The Cove.

Resistance Island, designed for the 2019 edition of the festival at its temporary home of Virginia Key, and welcoming performances from Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, Sasha & John Digweed, Maceo Plex and more, will be re-imagined for the 2020 festival back at Ultra’s original home of Bayfront Park.

Overlooking Biscayne Bay, and newly dubbed The Cove, Carl Cox's Resistance will take over the waterfront location from the 20th to 22nd March 2020.

After months of uncertainty, Miami City Commisioners voted in July to allow Ultra to return to the waterfront, after decreasing the amount of votes needed in order to secure the location

Resistance has just finished a season in Ibiza at Privelige, with performances from the likes of Carl Cox, Adam Beyer and Charlotte de Witte as well as Nic Fanciulli and Jamie Jones.
