Village Underground's Superstition announces Jeff Mills, Paula Temple, Answer Code Request for autumn

Run kicks off with Tommy Four Seven's 47 showcase tonight...

Village Underground's dedicated Friday techno series Superstition has announced its autumn line-ups, bringing yet more of the genre's finest to the Shoreditch venue, including Jeff Mills, Paula Temple and Answer Code Request.

Kicking off on Friday 1st September with Tommy Four Seven's new 47 concept party, the night welcomes the return of Headless Horseman with the UK debut of his new AV show, plus UVB and Killawatt, before Work Them Records brings Answer Code Request, Adriana Lopez, Spencer Parker a week later on 8th September.

On 6th October Sebastian Mullaert will perform his live show, as will Dorisburg; while one of the UK's finest, Paula Temple, leads a killer line-up which features Lucy, Avalon Emerson and Rrose on 13th October.

The end of the month (27th October) finds Tobias and FJAAK both performing, before the legendary Jeff Mills gets November off to a flying start with an extended set on Friday 3rd, and finally 10th November sees Ben Sims, DJ Deep and more on hand for Deeply Rooted.

Decked out with candles and with a community vibe that focuses on the music above all, Superstition has become one of London's best-loved techno parties, featuring in DJ Mag UK's Bootin' Off feature back in May.

“People don’t go to church anymore, they don’t have religious beliefs, they don’t have lots of space to congregate," Superstition co-founder Jorge Nieto told DJ Mag at the time. "At this party it’s like a community that follows techno, all different types of techno, and we unite under dim lights and good music.”
