Watergate marks 15 years with compilation, Watergate XV

Watergate is celebrating its 15th anniversary with an extensive boxset dubbed, ‘Watergate XV’. The release is limited to 1000.

The boxset contains five vinyl 12-inches, a double CD pack, a book called ‘Sound Travels’ by Linus Deckesser, illustrations by Frank Höhne and two tickets to the iconic club.

Anja Schneider, Solomun, 2017 UK cover artist Ellen Allien, La Fleur and Matthias Meyer are just a few of the Watergate residents that have supplied new productions for the release. In total, 22 tracks are pressed to the vinyl while the double CD pack contains 25 cuts.

With rent recently doubling, the next 15 years for the Berlin clubbing landmark are certainly not assured.
