Swedish House Mafia have collaborated with The Weeknd once again for a new track that will appear on the soundtrack to the forthcoming film 'Avatar: The Way Of Water'.

The new cut, titled 'Nothing Is Lost', will be released on 15th December, a day before the worldwide release of director James Cameron's sequel to his 2009 film 'Avatar'. The Weeknd wrote the track, and enlisted Swedish House Mafia and Grammy-winning composer Simon Franglen, who has handled the film's full score, for production.

The Weeknd first hinted at his contribution to the new 'Avatar' film in an Instagram post last week, which you can find below. It's believed that the music included in the post is a snippet of 'Nothing Is Lost'.

Earlier this year, The Weeknd released his album 'Dawn FM', which included production from Swedish House Mafia. He also shared a remix by Swedish House Mafia of the track 'Sacrifice', which the Swedish trio also co-produced the original of.

In April, the two acts also teamed up to replace Kanye West as the headliner of this year's Coachella festival.
