REVIEW: MILLER SOUNDCLASH 2016 WELCOME PARTY

Day one of this year's Miller SoundClash in Las Vegas

Nine DJs and their guests have arrived in Las Vegas for the Miller SoundClash Grand Final!

The opening day of Miller SoundClash is the first time the finalists get to meet one another. They have the opportunity to get to know each other and chat with the judges at the welcome party.

The venue for this year’s event could not be more impressive! The terrace of OMNIA Las Vegas sits at the end of the famous Las Vegas Strip, offering an unrivalled view of the neon city.

The open air venue is filling fast, as the finalists and their guests get acquainted with one another. South African duo Sphe & Naves provide the soundtrack.

Following welcome speeches from Miller Genuine Draft's Steve Arkley and Wes Godwin, the finalists group together for a team photo, before Augusto Yepes, last year's Miller SoundClash winner, takes to the decks.

One of the special things about Miller SoundClash, is that the support doesn't end when the DJs fly home. This year Augusto Yepes returns to play at two events, and also joins the judging panel. Meanwhile, 2014 winners Tom & Collins are set to headline the Grand Final at Marquee Day Club. This sense of consistency and support demonstrates the competition’s goal of creating meaningful, long term relationships with the competing DJs.

As Augusto finishes his set on the terrace, the finalists head back to the hotel to get rested, ahead of the Grand Final tomorrow.

One of them will be leaving Las Vegas with a record with Aftercluv DanceLab deal and a set at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub!
