London clubbers organised a protest to save the city’s nightlife community earlier this month, which is due to take place on Saturday 8th October, and now more details of the event have surfaced.
The protest will convene at 1pm at Hoxton Square, East London, before setting off on a march an hour later. Full details of the route are still TBC.
The march was set up in response to the revocation of fabrics license, which saw the Farringdon venue close its doors permanently after a hearing with Islington Council.
fabric launched the #SaveOurCulture appeal campaign in the wake of its closure last week, with which the venue’s founders aim to change legislation to stop “injustice” happening to venues in the future.
