SUPPORTING EDM'S NEW BREED

In case you haven’t noticed, dance music is a very big deal right now! Whether it is the explosion of EDM in the USA, the house music resurgence emanating from the UK, or one of the many sub genres that are popping up across the globe - our scene is in very rude health indeed - making dents on the pop charts, and breaking the boundaries of event production along the way!

As a brand who are passionate about electronic music and nightlife culture, Miller Genuine Draft have been strong supporters of this fast-growing scene, helping to bring it to bigger audiences and new markets through exclusive events and experiences both at the grass roots and the highest levels.

Over the last twelve months they have set up unique opportunities in their markets such as throwing a party in a secret mansion house in Uruguay with Fedde Le Grand or giving Sebastian Ingrosso the chance to invite his fans to join him for a one off show at New York City’s iconic Highline Ballroom. Earlier in the year they helped to make El Salvador’s first ever music festival - IstmoFest - happen and took over the VIP section at Lollapalooza International Music Festival in Argentina, giving 3,000 people incredible views over one of Latin America’s biggest music events.

Back in November we flew out to Moscow to help Miller celebrate Halloween with Subb-an and Grimes in an epic railway station. Closer to home, they bought DJ Mag favourite and techno legend Kevin Saunderson to a Miller Music Tour event in Cork, Ireland.

Now they are taking things to the next level, with Miller SoundClash, an ongoing global search to find the world’s most exciting up and coming EDM DJs and producers.

Right now, around the world, contests are going down to find 10 DJs who will travel to US party capital Las Vegas to compete against one another for a chance to play at the Top 100 DJs party at Marquee on August 23rd! This incredible prize will be a huge springboard for the winning DJ - and could be the first step to creating a new main-stage star!
