DAY ZERO RETURNS FOR A THIRD YEAR

Crosstown Rebels hold 24-hour Mayan fiesta

Scene-shaping dance label Crosstown Rebels have just announced that their Mayan-themed Day Zero festival will return on January 10th 2015.

The 24-hour electronic extravaganza will take place on three pyramids within the jungle near Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. As of yet, no acts have been announced. However, previous years have included dance icons such as Massive Attack, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Jamie Jones, Magda and Art Department — and you can be certain this next event will have a similar quality line-up.

Day Zero isn't just about the music either. Created by Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus (pictured) to celebrate “life, friendship and love” following our planet's survival of the supposed 2012 Mayan apocalypse, the festival features ancient rituals and activities, offering a completely unique experience.

On the cusp of their twelfth year, Crosstown Rebels continues to work at the forefront of the global electronic music scene. Most recently, the label has seen the release of Hot Natured frontman Ali Love's latest album 'P.U.M.P.'.
