Deadmau5 drops 'We Are Friends Volume 6': Listen
Deadmau5 has just dropped his yet another album, releasing the sixth edition of his Mau5trap label's 'We Are Friends' compilation series.
The Canadian, otherwise known as Joel Zimmerman, has released two solo long-players over the past few months — new material on 'W:/2016ALBUM/' and a collection of old, unreleased tracks on 'Stuff I Used To Do'.
'We Are Friends Vol. 6' features two new efforts from Zimmerman himself, 'Polaris' and a collaboration with ATTLAS titled 'Bad At Titles', along with work from the likes of BlackGummy, Enzo Bennet, Oliver Winters and No Mana.
Deadmau5 shares Cube 2.1 mini-documentary: Watch
Deadmau5 has shared a new mini-documentary on his Cube 2.0 stage design.
The 2-minute clip reveals new visuals and behind the scenes footage, along with interviews with Joel Zimmerman himself and members of the TAIT team who built the Cube 2.0 and previously worked with the Mau5 on his Hakkasan residency.
Deadmau5 shares visuals for upcoming Cube 2.1 tour
Deadmau5 heads off on tour next month, so in preparation the Canadian has uploaded clips of visuals for his Cube 2.1 stage.
Kicking off on 29th March with a run of shows at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, before making his way around the US and finishing up at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on 5th May. Tickets are available here.
Porter Robinson distances himself from previous material
Porter Robinson has confirmed his recent tweets denouncing the majority of his past material are serious.
The US artist shared a Spotify playlist containing just 11 of his tracks on Tuesday with the words, "No disrespect but this is the canon," adding, "Everything else is unofficial now."
Tunes included the majority of his 2014 debut album 'Worlds', his collabs with Madeon and Mat Zo, and his remix of 'The Thrill' by Nero.
DEADMAU5 TO STREAM LIVE PERFORMANCE OF NEW ALBUM MATERIAL
Deadmau5 is set to stream live performances of tracks from his new album 'W:/2016ALBUM/' tonight ahead of its release tomorrow (2nd December).
Joel Zimmerman will go live via his YouTube channel at 10pm ET/7pm PT (that's 3am for UK residents).
Along with tracks from the album, his “Live In Rehearsals" session will also showcase his new Cube 2.1 stage design, as teased by the mau5 in a recent Instagram clip.
DEADMAU5 TO RELEASE 20 TRACKS FOLLOWING NEW ALBUM
Deadmau5 has promised to release a 20-strong collection of old and new tracks via iTunes following the release of his new full-length 'W:/2016ALBUM/' this Friday (2nd December).
The Canadian producer, otherwise known as Joel Zimmerman, announced the forthcoming "remastered" music during an eight-hour live stream with fans.
DEADMAU5 SHARES MINIMIX OF NEW ALBUM
Deadmau5's new full-length 'W:/2016ALBUM' drops this Friday (2nd December), and just when you thought the anticipation couldn't get anymore intense, the Canadian has only gone and dropped a album minimix.
The clip is built mainly of sublime progressive house (as is to be expected from the mau5), such as the already previewed 'Let Go feat. Grabbitz', but also features some grittier tracks and a slower-paced, trip-hop-esque closer.

Earlier this week, Reddit user YardleyYeti posted explaining how he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and was worried he wouldn't make it to the Prydz's EPIC 5.0 show in LA in the New Year.
DEADMAU5 TEASES 'LET GO' AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM RELEASE
With deadmau5's new album 'W:/2016ALBUM/' only weeks away, the Canadian superstar DJ has shared a teaser to highly-anticipated track 'Let Go'.
Originally known as 'Blood For The Bloodgoat', the track is a slice of absorbing, emotive progressive house featuring American EDM act Grabbitz.

ERIC PRYDZ TEASES NEW PRYDA MATERIAL
New material from Eric Prydz's prog-heavy alias Pryda is on the way.
The Swedish veteran has been dropped a rather blatent, if detail-free, teaser via his Twitter account yesterday, simply saying "Pryda is coming...".
