Paul van Dyk suffered a life-threatening stage fall a year ago, and today he has issued a heartfelt statement on the support he’s had through his recovery.
The German trance legend was performing at the A State Of Trance (ASOT) event in Utrecht on 28th February 2016 when he fell through a gap in the side of the stage and suffered a cracked vertebrae.
Armin Van Buuren revealed that A State Of Trance radio has a new home last week, and now the 800th episode of his much-loved radio show has officially landed via his new studio.
It's the first show to be broadcast from Armin's new digs in Amsterdam, with the trance legend describing the build as: "a new chapter in the history of A State Of Trance."

The long-running radios how will celebrate its 800th edition on 2nd February and will be broadcast (in both audio and visual) from Armin's new studio in Amsterdam.
Armin has described the build as a "new chapter in the history of A State Of Trance, from the new radio studio in Amsterdam."
The show is also returning to its original, two-hour format, with hour one consisting of new tunes selected by Armin himself, whilst hour two will be a constant mix from the Dutch DJ.

The DJ/producer was hospitalised after reportedly falling 15-20 feet through a gap in the side of the stage at the event in Utrecht. As a result, he suffered a traumatic brain injury, broken spine, bruising and an open wound on the back of his head.
