The new subscription service, compiled of plugins from NI, iZotope and Brainworx, will launch in late 2024

Native Instruments (NI) has introduced a new tiered subscription platform called NI 360.

The new platform will offer multiple tiers of subscriptions, and access to Native Instruments, Brainworx and iZotope plugins for a monthly fee. Launching in late 2024, NI 360 incorporates two of the companies Native Instruments acquired in 2022, as well as its own wide array of plugins.

There will be three tiers in total: Essentials, which will cost $15 a month and comes with 50+ plugins; Plus, which costs $25 a month and comes with 100+ plugins, and Pro, which offers over 130 plugins, including what Native are calling “top tier” plugs. New instruments and releases will automatically be added to a user’s subscription as those plugins are released.

Essentials will include Ozone Elements from iZotope, Plus will include Ozone Standard, while Pro will include Kontakt 7, Ozone Advanced and more. The full breakdown of what will be available on each tier is listed here. Users who already own a license of a plugin that’s part of a subscription won’t see any change in their existing licenses, with NI claiming that “360 is designed to complement, not replace, perpetual licences, offering additional flexibility and access to an expanding array of tools”.

NI 360 will be fully rolled out later this year. Find out more about how it works on the Native Instruments website.
