Jayda G, Caribou and Floating Points are among acts who have shared support for a new climate change initiative, Music Declares Emergency.
Coldcut, Mafalda, Jon Hopkins and countless other artists have also vocalised their support for Music Declares Emergency, an initiative that comprises "a group of artists, music industry professionals and organisations that stand together to declare a climate and ecological emergency and call for an immediate governmental response to protect all life on Earth."

What makes it all the more remarkable is that the music she plays isn’t stuff you would normally associate with clubs. It flows freely between jazz, world music, soul and funk. It is often obscure and unknown, but still manages to connect with people and send them wild.
