UK-based DJ They-Ra has compiled a 13-track compilation “in response to the disastrous December election results in the UK.”
‘Never Decay, Vol. 1’ features contributions from artists including India Jordan, Lighght, Morten HD and more, spanning strands of experimental and club music. All proceeds from the release will be donated to The Outside Project, an LGBTQI+ homeless shelter and community centre in London.
Below, you can hear ‘Link Up’, a collaborative cut from Filipino producer Teya Logos and //bloompunch label affiliate, Lvers. Frenetic percussion and sizzling noise builds up to a heaving R&B section, all before the track hits an energetic climax with a footwork-meets-techno feel.
