A Daft Punk orchestra has announced its first show will take place in Glasgow on Thursday 13th September.

The 13-piece orchestra will perform their debut show at the city’s Saint Luke's & The Winged Ox.

Daft Punk, made up of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, were originally signed to Glasgow-based label Soma Records.

You can get more information about the show on the event’s Facebook page, which reads, “Lose yourself to dance and give life back to music as we re-work Daft Punk's greatest hits.”

In May, Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter penned an exclusive cut as part of the soundtrack to a new film by Gaspar Noé, titled Climax.

You can also learn how to play Daft Punk’s ‘Da Funk’ in 60 seconds.
