Galtier will release a new EP, 'Imitation Plantae', via his own Nostro Hood System label this month.
Described as being “inspired by the idea of man-made imitations attempting to capture the essence of natural beauty,” there’s a cyborg, sci-fi quality to these five tracks. Industrial UK techno rhythms are scrambled with alien FX and intricate sound design, making for some wild soundsystem shake-ups.
Brash, wild, but kind of beautiful at points, these tunes jump off from Galtier’s previous releases on Infinite Machine – for whom he recently recorded a DJ Mag mix – and ascend to new creative dimensions.
