There’s so much warmth to the music on Touching Bass, and as winter looms, this soulful six-tracker is exactly what the doctor ordered. The South London and Geneva-based producers and DJs kick off the label’s new dancefloor-focused 12” series, capturing the energy of their beloved club nights. Moving gracefully from smoky dub into an inviting hearth of house and bruk, all basking in a jazzy glow, these cuts have a loose-limbed club sway and a sweet, effortless depth. With lush guest vocals from Achanté on two tracks, this release will help keep the frost away.
The EP has already received DJ support from the likes of Moxie, Shy One, Secretsundaze, Aqwea, Pete Tong, Jamz Supernova and Alexander Nut. It’ll be released on 24th November. You can pre-order/save it here.
