Nite Fleit will release a brand new EP, ‘Did I Stutter’, later this week via Atomic Alert. Listen exclusively to ‘Bending Frames’ below.

The Italy-based, Australia-born DJ and producer follows recent contributions to Helena Hauff’s ‘fabric presents’ mix compilation and KEYI Magazine’s ‘Sonic Reflection’, with a new four-track EP of high-octane electro with a new-wave sizzle. Out via her Atomic Alert imprint, the four-tracker marks the first release from Nite Fleit – real name Alysha Fleiter – since her 2022 debut LP, ‘Day Fleit / Night Fleit’, for Steel City Dance Discs.

‘Did I Stutter’ finds the producer continuing to branch out in rousing new directions, fusing her vitalising electro-focused sound with warm, dreamy synth work and increasingly hypnotic sound design. ‘Bending Frames’ dazzles with acidic arps and cosmic, new-wave melodies, while ‘Little Robot’ leans further into Nite Fleit’s quintessential electro mode.

B2 ‘Girl on Fire’ has been waiting in the wings since 2018 as one of the Aussie producer’s first ever compositions, and features all the nostalgic, layered melodies and blustering subs you’d expect.

“It incorporates excerpts from interviews with Edie Sedgwick for the ‘Girl On Fire’ short,” she shared on the track. “It resonates with me because my music consistently explores the intricate balance between the tough and the delicate, which is evident in this track.”

Alongside crafting her new sound, Nite Fleit has been working on a unique live/hybrid show, set to be unveiled next year.
