Premiere: Lynch Kingsley ‘Astral Pulse’

Italian producer Lynch Kingsley paints a futuristic world with his abstract drum & bass palette on ‘Astral Pulse/Capricorn’. Listen to the intense, cerebral sounds of the opening track now

Lynch Kingsley marks his second release with Rua Sound via their sub-label, Foxy Jangle, with a new EP next month.

Making his debut on Beat Machine in 2014, Kingsley has since released on the likes of Alphacut, Inperspective and Med School. His latest two-tracker, slated for release on the 23rd of August, pushes his typically abstract style of futuristic drum and bass even further.

Exploring avant-garde jungle territories, ‘Astral Pulse/Capricorn’ draws on the darker sounds in Kingsley’s arsenal, reminiscent of 2018’s ‘Void’, released via Inperspective.

A frenzied foray into complex electronics, ‘Astral Pulse’ sees Kingsley utilising signature genre styles while continuing to push boundaries. Layered with off-kilter vocals and subtle saxophone, the sound deepens and intensifies throughout, before dubbed-out, spiralling bass guides the track to a darker place.
