Premiere: Morwell 'Eyes on Me (Loraine James remix)'

Croatian/British producer Morwell taps up affiliates from Hyperdub, Teklife and Worst Behaviour on his latest remix EP. Hear Loraine James' glitching take on Morwell's screwed-up jungle track, 'Eyes on Me', now

Morwell will release a remix EP next month.

With the artist's tracks frequently played by the likes of Anz, Dobby, and Jossy Mitsu, Croatian/British artist Morwell has tapped up a handful of underground names for his latest EP, the 'Eyes on Me' remix package.

The original four-tracker was picked out by bandcamp when it was released in July 2019, and the EP's tracks garnered attention from the likes of Kode9, object blue, and L U C Y. Now, incoming on the 28th February, the re-imaginations come courtesy of the likes of Teklife's DJ Earl, Kiki D, and Hypderub affiliate, Loraine James.

The North London-born artist, who released her debut album, 'For You And I', via Hyperdub in 2019, steps up for a twisted rework of the EP title track. Taking Morwell's original and slowing down the tempo, James layers glitching electronics to create a warped, haunted atmosphere, for a sensual take on 'Eyes on Me'.
