A new photobook documenting rave and youth culture is being released via Velocity Press.

Out  19th July, You Out Tonight? marks the debut book from the Instagram account Tough Luck, which celebrates club culture worldwide and has a following of over 46,000.

The 160-page hardcover book will feature over 300 photos from 15 up-and-coming youth culture photographers, each with diverse backgrounds and styles.

According to the press release, You Out Tonight? “serves as more than just a title for this photography book; it’s an invitation, a call for adventure. This phrase encapsulates the essence of spontaneity, the spirit of seizing the night, and the anticipation of stepping into a world where music, freedom, and creativity converge.”

You Out Tonight? Is available for pre-order now. You can secure a copy of the book here.

The photobook will be published by Velocity Press, a publisher specialising in electronic music literature and more, which opened its flagship store in South London earlier this year.

It’s been a busy year for the independent publisher. Velocity Press recently published Ben Murphy’s Ears To The Ground: Adventures in Field Recording and Electronic Music, which examines the relationship between electronic music artists and landscapes in the UK, Ireland, and beyond. You can read DJ Mag’s long read on the book here

Velocity Press also released a second edition of Jim Ottewill's Out Of Space: How UK Cities Shaped Rave Culture in April, and Let The Music Play: How R&B Fell In Love With 80s Synths in January.
