Alinka has announced a new EP, which is set to arrive courtesy of Gudu Records. You can listen to the first single, 'Freedom Dance', below.

Slated to land via Peggy Gou's label on 14th June, this will be the DJ and producer's first appearance on the imprint, adding to a back catalogue of work for the likes of Rekids, Permanent Vacation and her own Twirl imprint, which relaunched last year.

"Peggy Gou and I met years ago at Panorama Bar in Berlin and had the best time, and I’ve been a fan of her music since the start. We share a common love for house music, so when she asked me to make music for Gudu, I was really honoured and excited," said Alinka.

Although based in Berlin and born in Kyiv, Alinka spent many years living in the US Midwest, where she became immersed in the region's renowned club culture. Eventually securing a residency at Justin Long's beloved Smartbar party, .Dotbleep, this experience has directly influenced her studio output.

"I wrote these tracks just for [Peggy Gou] and the label, so it’s a very special project for me, and the music means a lot to me. It’s music for the dance floors," she continued. "I grew up in Chicago, so I make tracks to close your eyes and dance to like no-one's watching. It's an ode to the timeless sound that shaped my life."
