Armin van Buuren releases new album, 'Breathe In': Listen

Spanning 12 tracks, it's inspired by being back on dancefloors post-pandemic

Armin van Buuren releases new album, 'Breathe In': Listen

Armin van Buuren has released his ninth studio album, 'Breathe In'.

Out via his own Armada Music label, the 12-track release features contributions from Ferry Corsten, Rank 1, Vini Vici and a number of guest vocalists. Written over the course of two years or so, it was inspired by being back on dance floors and inside clubs following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The album is described in a press release as the next step in the narrative that began with the 'Feel Again' LP, which came out in March last year. This latest record is said to explore a more upbeat and high-BPM sound than its predecessor.

You can listen to 'Breathe In' in full below.

The album's release follows on from the unveiling of van Buuren's A State of Trance mix for 2023 lastmonth. The 111-track mega mix features producers including Chicane, Ferry Corsten, Rank 1, and Bryan Kearney, alongside van Buuren himself.

van Buuren was named the world's No.1 trance DJ in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs 2023. He finished fifth in the overall poll.
