David Guetta and Armin van Buuren tease collaborative single: Watch
The new single was debuted during a b2b set in Ibiza earlier this week
David Guetta and Armin van Buuren have teased the release of their debut collaborative single.
The track, which is yet to be named, was premiered to fans in earlier this week as part of Guetta’s Ushuaïa Ibiza residency, where he performed b2b with the legendary trance DJ. The set, which was was part of Guetta’s F**K Me I’m Famous! residency, marked the duo’s second-ever b2b. You can watch a clip of the track being played below.
In a post about the track, Guetta wrote: "The love of music above all, that’s why Ibiza will always be my favourite place on Earth !!! We come from different musical paths, but our passion brings us together... And gave us the desire to release a track together,"
No release date has been announced, but it will follow a series of recent releases from both Guetta and van Buuren.
Guetta, who was voted the world's No.1 DJ in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll in 2023, remixed Sophie Ellis-Bextor's ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ back in March. Originally released in 2001, the song experienced a resurgence in popularity late last year after being featured in the blockbuster film Saltburn and gaining momentum on TikTok.
The French DJ also dropped his official rework of Mason and Princess Superstar's ‘Perfect (Exceeder)’ back in February.
Armin van Buuren has also been active in recent months, notably producing the "official anthem" for the Dutch men's national football team ahead of the 2024 UEFA European Championship this month. Last month he also released the 21st installment of his iconic 'A State Of Trance' series.
