Henry Moores, the 21-year-old who committed to walking 2400km for charity, has made it to Ibiza.

He landed on the White Isle yesterday, 16th June, after 66 days of walking. He was welcomed by Wayne Lineker, the owner of Linekers bar.

Earlier this year, Moores announced he would be taking the trek from Manchester to Ibiza to raise money for the Tony Hudgell Foundation, an organisation that supports children affected by physical, emotional or psychological abuse. He  walked roughly the length of a marathon a day over 60 days, starting with the 507km trek from Manchester to Portsmouth, before starting again in Caen, France, from where he headed on to Denia, Spain for the 1818km walk to the Ibiza ferry.

He has since reached £125,938 of his £150,000 goal, which was increased after seeing his initial target was met.

"I'm a very charitable person," Moore told Euro News last Friday, 14th June. "I've always wanted to do something massive, something maybe a bit stupid and to catch the attention of people's eyes. And I've always flirted with the idea of walking to Spain."

In October 2023, Moores walked from Macclesfield to Paris and raised more than £19,000.
