Brilliant Corners unveils new travelling sound system Giant Steps

The most refined festival sound system ever...

The brains behind Brilliant Corners, the home of London's only audiophile sound system, have unveiled their new travelling sound system, Giants Steps.

The aim of Giant Steps is to create the most refined festival sound system ever, much like 2 Many DJs did with their vinyl-only sound system, Despacio.

At the heart of the system, is a repurposed vintage BBC Technics turntable console.

That's then been paired with four custom stacks, combining Japanese TAD bass speakers with classic Klipsch La Scalas for what will be the most refined festival sound system.

“The aim is to create an atmosphere of freedom, comfort and togetherness, so that sounds travel straight into the hearts and souls of the dancers,” said brothers Aneesh and Amit on the system's capabilities.

The system will get its first proper outing at next week's Houghton festival, where it will be manned by the likes of Ben UFO, Floating Points, Hunee, Donna Leake, Chuggy and more.
