Burial and Kode9 announce new EP, ‘Infirmary / Unknown Summer’, via fabric Originals
The release marks the duo's first collab on the label since 2018
Burial and Kode9 have announced a new collaborative EP ‘Infirmary / Unknown Summer’. Check it out below.
The new EP is set to be released via fabric Originals and is available to pre-order now, with the split 12” single landing in stores Friday, 21st July 2023. Kode9's track on the release 'Infirmary' will be available to stream and download from Tuesday, 11th July 2023.
The 140g record comes in limited edition clear and silver vinyl, as well as a standard black vinyl version. The project follows the duo’s link up for the final FabricLive compilation series, which dropped back in November 2018.
Burial's last record, 'Streetlands', was released through Hyperdub in October 2022. Kode9 released his 'Escapology' LP last July, also on Hyperdub.
fabric Originals released ‘Electrive Drive’, a four-track EP from Marcel Dettmann, earlier this month – his debut on the label.
Earlier this year, several tracks by Burial soundtracked Burberry's Autumn / Winter 2023 runway show. El-B also dropped his collaborative track with Burial 'Prophecy' back in January – which was originally produced in 2009.
