Calvin Harris has announced the release date and collaborators for his forthcoming new album, ‘Funk Wav Bounces Volume 2’.

The Grammy award-winning Scottish DJ and producer has rounded up an impressive array of guests for the hotly anticipated LP, which is due to arrive on 2nd August, including Dua Lipa and Young Thug – who made an appearance on previously released single ‘Potion’ – and A-listers 21 Savage, Tinashe, Stefflon Don, Halsey, Pusha T, Lil Durk, Offset, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Pharrell, Swae Lee, Snoop Dogg, and more.

‘Funk Wav Bounces Volume 2’ is Harris's first album in five years and us the follow-up to the critically acclaimed first instalment, which was released in 2017. ‘Funk Wav Bounces Volume 1’ featured hits like 'Slide', 'Feels' and 'Heatstroke' and collaborations with Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg, Future, Ariana Grande, Schoolboy Q, Kehlani, among others.

Last weekend, Harris entertained the crowds with a set at Glastonbury's elaborate 50-ton, fire-breathing Arcadia Spider stage, which also hosted the likes of Carl Cox b2b Chase & Status, and Sub Focus b2b Dimension.

In other Calvin Harris news, last month he joined the Liverpool Football Club atop their bus for a parade through the city, soundtracking the festivities on decks set up on the open top floor of the double-decker bus surrounded by players. Naturally, he played 'One Kiss', the club's unofficial anthem.
