CASISDEAD has announced details of his debut studio album, ‘Famous Last Words’, arriving via XL Recordings. Listen to the first single ‘Matte Grey Wrap’, featuring Megan Louise and Desire, below.

The 23-track album is set for release on 27th October, and is described as a “fully realised expansion of the dystopian futurism” that has hallmarked the Tottenham rapper and producer’s sound since 2013.

‘Famous Last Words’ will feature collaborators including Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant, singer Connie Constance, and grime artist Kamio, along with a big-name production cast that includes Stranger Things composer Kyle Dixon, and Italians Do It Better label founder, Johnny Jewel.

Ahead of the album’s release, CASISDEAD has shared a brand new single, ‘Matte Grey Wrap’, featuring Megan Louise and Johnny Jewel’s own Desire alias. The track introduces the '80s-inspired synth-pop soundscapes and dark storytelling that unfolds across the project.

In support of the album, the cult rapper will play a London hometown show at KOKO on 2nd November, with tickets available here. CASISDEAD has also confirmed three Rough Trade instore shows (full dates below) with tickets available now alongside album pre-orders.

‘Famous Last Words’ will mark the UK artist’s first long-length release since 2013’s ‘The Number 23’ mixtape, which is being pressed onto (red) vinyl for the first time to coincide with the new album. Featuring legendary CASISDEAD cuts such as ‘Play’, ‘All Hallows’, and ‘Drugs Don’t Work’, the vinyl is available to pre-order now.

‘Famous Last Words’ is available via XL Recordings on 27th October. Listen to ‘Matte Grey Wrap’ below.
