Joy Orbison has dropped a new track, ‘Flight FM’. Listen to it below.
According to a press release, the new single was written and recorded as Orbison was waiting to get a lift to perform at last year's Lost Village Festival in Lincolnshire, and "road tested through the car stereo on the drive to the event".
'Flight FM' follows 2023's 'Freedom 2 collaboration with Overmono and Kwengface and the September 2023 release of 'archive 09-10,' a five-track collective of rare, much-discussed tunes from the earlier days of the London-based producer’s career, such as GR Etiquette.

In September 2022, he paired with Overmono for a new single on XL Recordings, 'Blind Date', their second collaboration for XL following 'Bromley / Still Moving' under the Joy Overmono alias in late 2019.
Orbison released his acclaimed debut full-length still slipping vol.1 in 2021, which won Best Album at DJ Mag's Best Of British Awards 2021.
