The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Banksy, and more donate prizes to Vikki Drama charity auction

The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Banksy, and other notable figures have contributed to an auction to generate funds for Vikki Drama, a long-time electronic music fan who suffers from MS.

Victoria Saunders, also known Vikki Drama, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis two years ago. Faced with a swift deterioration in her physical well-being, she decided to undertake a journey to Mexico for a crucial Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT).

On 10th December 2023, an event at The Star of Liverpool Street, London, was organised by Eastern Electrics founder Rob Star, publican Dave Harvey, and Becki Bee, to fundraise for her surgery.

Bushwacka, Heidi, Justin Robertson, Terry Farley, Sophie Lloyd, Frank Tope and Tayo performed at the event – raising a total of £50,000. However, at the time of writing, an additional £10,000 is still needed to cover Vikki's HSCT procedure.

In a bid to cover the remaining cost, The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Goldie, Banksy, Andrew Weatherall’s estate, Glastonbury Festival, and more have all donated unique and one-of-a-kind items to an online auction.

The online auction – which includes collectables from signed gold discs and posters, to jewellery and holidays – will run until 8 PM GMT, 17th December 2023. You can see the full list of items available for auction here.

Last month, Leftfield’s Niel Barnes donated 500 records from his personal collection to support a fundraising initiative in northern England. The unique collection – featuring rarities, early Hard Hands releases, and the outfit’s first-ever remix – was auctioned to raise funds for providing Christmas dinners to those in need and food banks. Earlier this year, New York's DJ Danny Tenaglia auctioned off his record collection, DJ gear, studio equipment, and memorabilia. The extensive auction unfolded as the 62-year-old artist perseveres through his ongoing treatment for colon cancer.
