The Daft Punk Orchestra announce return show

The 16-piece group will be back in action next month

Daft Punk may be showing no signs of returning to touring soon 12 years on from their infamous Pyramid shows, but maybe you can take comfort in the news that The Daft Punk Orchestra are to return to touring as of next month.

The 16-piece group will recreate a number of the French duo's best-loved hits as part of a newly-announced show at Morecambe Winter Gardens in Lancashire on Friday, December 6th.

Amongst the tracks that are undoutedly set to appear in the ensemble's setlist are 'One More Time', 'Around The World' and, of course, 'Get Lucky'. The group is the creation of promoters Re:imagine who have been responsible for a number of orchestral-focused gigs recreating music by popular acts in recent years. The Daft Punk Orchestra has sold out 80 shows in London alone in recent years,

It was recently revealed by Discogs that Daft Punk's 'Random Access Memories' album was the best-selling record of the decade on the website. The duo's 'One More Time' was also recently the focus of a VR rave experience.
