Danny Tenaglia has announced the final chapter in his Global Underground trilogy, 'GU45: Brooklyn', which will land in November on CD, vinyl, download and streaming platforms.

In total, 42 tracks feature on the two-part mix, with tracks from Guy J, Moderat, Ralph Falcon, Basement Jaxx, Age of Love, Radio Slave, Monika Kruse, and Tenaglia himself. In addition to standard formats, a special Collector's Edition has also been announced, which will include a photo book, vinyl, CD, tote bag, art prints and postcards.

"I’m happy to announce that I’ve just completed my third compilation for the iconic Global Underground series," said Tenaglia. "As a native of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this compilation is not only a celebration of my roots but also a tribute to the dynamic and ever-evolving nightlife that ignited and guided my musical career back in 1975.”

“I’m so excited to present the third and final instalment in Danny Tenaglia’s GU Trilogy with GU45: Brooklyn. Danny’s mixes have been a huge part of GU’s DNA for many years, with his seminal Athens and London mixes becoming many people’s favourite DJ mixes of all time. Brooklyn is a stunning addition to that heritage, and I can’t wait to release this album to the world," added Andy Horsfield, Global Underground Founder.

Tenaglia's previous contributions to the decade-spanning Global Underground mixes came in 1999 ('GU010: Athens') and 2000 ('GU017: London'). Both remain some of the most celebrated in the series, which has been running for 27 years. The most recent instalment came in November 2022, 'GU044: Amelie Lens - Antwerp'.

Late-July, Tenaglia posted a video to Instagram in which he revealed to fans that he had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing radiotherapy treatment. The news came following a string of cancelled shows. It is understood the disease was caught at an early stage.
