DIPLO PUTTING JACK Ü PROJECT ON HOLD FOR NOW

Mad Decent boss focusing on Major Lazer...

Diplo has announced he will be taking a break from his Jack Ü collaborative project with Skillex for the foreseeable future.

In an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, the Mad Decent honcho confirmed the duo do have a lot of music still to put out, but having overworked himself last year, would be focusing on Major Lazer during 2017.

“I think right now I’m just trying to make Major Lazer," says Diplo. "Last year I kind of did everything and I wore myself really thin trying to do all those projects, but this year it’s all about getting the Major Lazer stuff out.

"We have a lot of records we wrote together me and Skrillex but I don’t think it's time to put those out now. Just trying to concentrate on this Major Lazer material.”

The US star also discusses Major Lazer's upcoming 'Music Is The Weapon' album and his Viceland spoof documentary series with James van der Beek.
