Diplo stars in Google Home Max advert alongside Valentino Khan: Watch

Google has tapped Diplo and Valentino Khan for an advert showcasing their new intelligent speaker, Google Home Max.

Google's Home Max is a Wi-Fi speaker which features voice control and comes with a 12-month subscription to Youtube Music.

The speaker, which looks a lot like a Sonos: Play 1, is able to analyse its surroundings and adjust its sound output to match any room size or shape.

In the advert (below), Diplo invites round some friends to his house, including fellow EDM don Valentino Khan, to play some Major Lazer tracks using his voice and then talks about the importance of audio fidelity.

Google's new Googe Home Max speaker is set to be released this December for $399 and includes a 12-month subscription to Youtube Music.

The Major Lazer front man recently donated $100,000 to the Las Vegas shooting victims' fund and urged other DJs who regularly play in Vegas to do the same. 

Google also recently announced a clever pair of new in-ear earphones, dubbed Pixel Buds, which have the ability to tap into Google Translate; enabling users of 40 various languages to have conversations in real-time.
