UK drum & bass pioneer Bailey has announced the launch of a new event brand, Intabeats.

The first party will take place at London's Grow, in Hackney Wick, on Wednesday 15th November. One of DJ Mag's Artists to Watch in 2023, AMA, will play back-to-back with Sweetpea, while the line-up also includes Gambit and Bailey, alongside a special guest still to be announced.

Central to the overall concept is the championing of intimate, smaller clubs alongside contemporary sounds from the drum & bass spectrum courtesy of veterans and rising talent alike. The choice of venue is a crucial factor, as are values of "beatsploration" and inclusivity.

"Lately, myself and my peers have been reflecting on the importance of small clubs, where people can come to try new things, take risks and see if they work. Intabeats will create a space where DJs can experiment with their music; maybe it’s outside of their usual sound but they love it, maybe it’s a bit weird or they slip up and it's a happy accident. That’s what it’s about," said Bailey.
