fabric announces new Sunday daytime music and art event series, Commune

fabric is launching a new Sunday daytime event series called Commune.

Set to take place on the first Sunday of each month, the series of events will combine music with immersive art as a means of providing an alternative to traditional Sunday clubbing and exhibition spaces.

The brainchild of regular fabric guest DJ Pattn, Commune, a press release said, invites "attendees to delve into a state of intimate, heightened sensitivity through a captivating fusion of genres, starting with intelligent, ambient electronica through to selector-driven house and indie dance and melodic rhythms".

The first Commune will take place on Sunday, 1st October, and will feature an ambient set from Sasha collaborators Sentre, in addition to DJ sets from New York's Kenny Jones, Me Me Me and Midnight People resident Megan Leo, and Michael Lane, resident of Berlin's OXI club.

The immersive art aspect of the event will take in contributions from Ardott, a web3.0 leading art-on-demand platform for digital artists, which will showcase an exhibition of digital art, including the work of artist Henry Chu, who works with data, music and body movement.

Tickets are available here.

Earlier this year, fabric was listed 17th in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs poll.
