Fugees reunited for a surprise performance this past weekend.

The legendary hip-hop trio reunited during founding member Lauryn Hill's set at this year's The Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia, where she performed her seminal debut solo album 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill'.

During the set on 2nd June, Hill welcomed fellow founding members Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel on stage to perform six tracks, including Fugees' classics 'Killing Me Softly' and 'Ready or Not'.

The Roots, who organise The Roots Picnic, served as the backing band for the entire performance. Check out clips from Fugees' set below.

The unexpected reunion came a few weeks after Pras Michel was found guilty of political conspiracy. He is yet to be sentenced. Alongside Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, he co-founded influential group in 1990. They went on to become one of the best-selling hip-hop groups of all time.

Fugees briefly reunited in 2004 and 2021. Plans for a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their landmark debut album 'The Score' were shelved last year.
