Ms. Lauryn Hill and The Fugees announce The Miseducation Anniversary Tour dates
After late 2023 joint tour dates were cancelled as Hill "battl[ed] serious vocal strain", the hip-hop icons are back with new North American, UK and European gigs
Ms. Lauryn Hill is reuniting with The Fugees for new dates in their The Miseducation Anniversary Tour.
The joint tour kicked off in 2023 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her landmark 1998 album, 'The Miseducation of Ms. Lauryn Hill', but was postponed in November as Hill had "been battling serious vocal strain".
This summer, The Miseducation Anniversary Tour will pick back up on 9th August in Tampa, Florida for 21 concerts through October 22nd. After the first stretch of North American shows, stopping in Philadelphia, Houston, Los Angeles and other US cities, Ms. Lauryn Hill and The Fugees will play four dates in the UK and Europe. They'll stop in Manchester on 12th October, then perform in London and Paris before closing out in Amsterdam.
The hip-hop icons will be performing music from key albums 'The Miseducation of Ms. Lauryn Hill' and 'Score', and will be joined by Y.G. Marley and other TBA guests.
Before the initial run of The Miseducation Anniversary Tour was postponed, Ms. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees performed at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York.
This March, Ms. Lauryn Hill was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame alongside Donna Summer and De La Soul.
In 2021, Ms. Lauryn Hill became the first female MC to receive a diamond certification from The Recording Industry Association (RIAA) of America for 'The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill'.
