Hardstyle festival Defqon.1 announces full line-up for 2023 edition
Angerfist, Da Tweekaz, Headhunterz, and The Prophet's last ever set
Hardstyle festival Defqon.1 has unveiled its full line-up. The throw down runs from 22nd to 25th June 2023 in Biddinguizen, The Netherlands.
Headline acts this time come in the form of Act of Rage, Sub Zero Project, Gunz For Hire, Angerfist, Dr. Peacock, Devin Wild, Rebelion, D-Sturb and Rejecta. Phuture Noize will headline Friday's official Opening Ceremony, and the weekend climaxes with the last ever set from genre originator The Prophet.
Other names confirmed over the four days include Alter Ego, Da Tweekaz, Ran-D, The Darkraver, The DJ Producer, Headhunterz, and Sickmode. A special b2b freestyle set is also confirmed from Outsiders and Korsakoff.
In addition to live and DJ sets, a series of events within the event will take place. Thursday night sees audio-visual spectacular The Gathering kick of proceedings. Meanwhile, annual fixture The Power Hour will return on Saturday, and Sunday offers chance to hand over footwear to on-site artists who will use shoes to create original pieces.
100,000 people from 100 countries attended 2022, the first in-person Defqon.1 for three years due to the pandemic. Tickets for this edition go on sale Saturday 25th February at 1PM CET.
