HE.SHE.THEY. announces full line-up for 2023 Amnesia Ibiza residency
Horse Meat Disco, DJ Holographic, Âme, KiNK and more will play this weekend's opening party
HE.SHE.THEY. has confirmed the full line-up for its summer of parties at Amnesia Ibiza.
Kicking off tonight (Friday, 16th June), the promoter's season of Friday parties will launch with guest sets from Horse Meat Disco, DJ Holographic and Merve, as well as a back-to-back between Âme and KiNK.
The inclusivity-focused party – "a fiesta for ALL. All genders, all sexualities, all races welcome" – will then take place each Friday until 14th July, before returning each Friday from 25th August through to 8th September. Among the guests for the other parties through the summer are Overmono, Marcel Dettmann, Maya Jane Coles, Honeyluv, Paula Tape, Kerri Chandler, Avalon Emerson, Sally C and Ben Klock.
HE.SHE.THEY. recently collaborated with Ibiza Pride, with their DJs playing the closing slot Gala Diversity Celebration on Saturday June 10th in San Antonio. Their opening party at Amnesia is also a Pride collaboration. Speaking about their shared vision for inclusivity and diversity on Isle, HE.SHE.THEY. co-founder Steven Braines spoke about the event's progressive, welcoming policy: "As a queer man myself, it's really important in 2023 when LGBTQIA+ rights are going backwards in so many parts of the world, to unite and collaborate as a community ourselves and with allies. That's why HE.SHE.THEY. is a fiesta for ALL.
"I'm delighted that that there so many amazing LGBTQIA+ artists playing for us this year, from established names like Maya Jane Coles, Horse Meat Disco, Jennifer Cardini and DJ Holographic to burgeoning talents like FKA.M4A, Dana Montana, BASHKAA, and our residents SYREETA and Maze & Masters. I’m so proud to collaborate with a grassroots organisation like Ibiza Pride. The queer community and it’s freedom and creativity has always been one of the greatest assets of the island and long may that continue.”
