Sally C has announced a third 'Big Saldo's Chunkers' EP. You can listen to the first track, 'All Love', below.
Set for release on 13th July, the four-track EP spans hip-house, pared back rolling beats and a 144BPM drum machine jam, with the Berlin-based, Irish DJ and producer emphasising her desire to experiment with new sounds. “I wanted to challenge myself when writing this record," she said. "I still haven’t released a full EP on another label, so I wanted to pair straight up Chunkers with something a bit different to shake up the Chunker energy."
'Big Saldo's Chunkers 003' follows on from the hugely successful previous instalment, which landed last year and featured the dance floor anthem 'Downtown. Launched in 2020, the series is sonically rooted in a classic, high-energy US house sound, nodding to luminaries such as the late K-Hand. Receiving critical acclaim from the outset, the first instalment in currently on a fourth repress to satisfy demand.
