Houghton Festival announces 2022 return dates

It's set to make its return to Norfolk for the first time since 2018

Houghton Festival has announced its return dates for 2022.

Having been forced to cancel its 2019 outing due to an extreme weather warning, as well as its scheduled return in both 2020 and 2021 due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the Craig Richards-curated festival is scheduled to return to Houghton Hall in King's Lynn, Norfolk across 11th-14th August.

While the line-up is yet to be revealed, organisers posted the following statement via their official website:

"As you are all aware, our journey of postponement began one year before the pandemic. This is in fact our sixth year and in those six years just two festivals were fully realised. This extraordinary journey has only made us more passionate and determined. The future of Houghton was never in doubt."

"August cannot come soon enough for us all," the statement continued. As our loyal and committed audience, we would like to say thank you for your unwavering support."

The most recent outing for the festival in 2018 featured sets by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Midland, Ben UFO, Helena Hauff and Call Super.
