Jayda G to headline DJ Mag Presents party at INDEX Dublin
The Canadian DJ and producer will perform at Dublin’s newest venue on 10th November
DJ Mag are teaming up with Dublin venue INDEX for a night of house music with Jayda G.
The party will take place on 10th November as part of the venue’s re-opening season at its new space, and feature a headline set from the Canadian DJ and producer. Support on the night will come from Sligo-based selector Ricky Chong and Amsterdam-born, Dublin-based DJ JWY.
The relocation, which was announced back in August, has seen INDEX become the biggest dedicated electronic music space in Dublin. With a view to “bring the world’s best artists to the city while also supporting Ireland’s brightest talent,” the nightspot will welcome Jayda G, alongside sets from Alan Fitzpatrick, Ben Hemsley, Blawan, Indira Paganotto, and more across its inaugural season.
Jayda G released her new album, ‘Guy’, on Ninja Tune earlier this summer, marking the Canadian artist’s second full-length record for the label.
‘Guy’ takes its name from Jayda G's late father, William Richard Guy. Speaking about this in her recent DJ Mag cover feature, she said: “My father wanted something better for himself, and so looking back at his life, understanding the position I’m in because of those really conscious decisions he made, is a big theme.”
Tickets to Jayda G x DJ Mag at INDEX Dublin go on sale this Friday (29th September) at 10am.
