Jessy Lanza shares animated video for ‘I Hate Myself’: Watch

Featured on the Canadian artist's fourth album for Hyperdub, 'Love Hallucination'

Jessy Lanza has shared an animated video for ‘I Hate Myself'.

Created by Infinite Vibes, the AI-assisted video picks up where the visual universe for Lanza's previously released single 'Midnight World' — which was co-produced with Jaques Greene — left off. It's the latest video to be released from the Canadian artist's fourth album for Hyperdub 'Love Hallucination', which came out in July.

"The creative process was strange, I had multiple false starts and ended up a long way from my original idea but I'm happy with how it turned out," explained Infinite Vibes.

He continues: "I wanted to extend on the visual world created for the Midnight Ontario video and ended up using a nutty variety of AI techniques to make it happen. Hopefully the technical stuff doesn't matter too much and people can just enjoy some moving pictures that compliment rather than detract from the feeling of the song.”
