Jlin has announced a new album, ‘Akoma', and has shared a new single featuring Philip Glass. Listen to 'The Precision of Infinity’ below.
The album is slated for release on 22nd March via Planet Mu and will also feature appearances from Björk and Kronos Quartet
‘Akoma’ follows the release of her Pulitzer shortlisted 2023 mini-album, ‘Perspective’, which marked her first solo venture since 2021’s 'Embryo' EP. Back in 2022, DJ Mag caught up with the Indiana-based composer to discuss ‘Embryo’ EP. You can revisit the full feature here.
To accompany the album release Jlin will embark on an eight-date tour, starting with the Big Ears festival in Knoxville, on 21st March, followed by performances at Rewire Festival in The Hague, Mutek Barcelona, Bozar in Brussels, and In The Round Festival in London.
